It is the mission of the Activities Department to provide social interaction for residents as well as to stimulate their mental and emotional health through a variety of planned scheduled programs. The Activities Department strives to improve the quality of life of every resident admitted to the facility, no matter what their physical, emotional, social or spiritual status is.    Programs are designed for each individual resident’s abilities and interests.   Among the activities are movies, parties, exercise groups, BINGO, arts and crafts, cooking groups, evening activities and community outings.      Residents have beauty parlor/barber shop services offered to them. There is an outside courtyard with lighting, fish, pond, furniture, etc. for the residents and families to use and enjoy. The goal of the Activities Department, is to work to make every resident’s quality of life as enriching as it possibly can be.
