The Tree of Lights is an annual event sponsored by the Wells House
Auxiliary and serves as both a fund-raiser as well as an opportunity for friends of Wells House to come together during this
special season.
How your contributions have helped
Participants in our 2009 Tree of Lights fund-raiser allowed the Wells House Auxiliary
to purchase:
Leader Herald subscriptions for each floor
flowers for the front porch and courtyard
stock pots for the resident's kitchen
a copier for
the physical therapy department
six new over-the-bed tables
utility carts for dietary
a family pack for staff CPR training
scholarship
money for BOCES nursing students
picnic and luncheons for
the residents and Adult Day Health Registrants
This year
the Auxiliary hopes that this fund-raiser will help them provide
new knives for the dietary department
new TV's for
each floor to be mounted on the wall for all to view
a DVD
player for each floor
pulse oximeter for the nursing staff
additional items as needed that are not provided in the Wells Nursing Home budget
